1. Our Commitment
Forte Bridging Finance is committed to providing a high standard of service to everyone we deal with. If we ever fall short of that standard, we want to hear about it so we can put things right and improve how we work.
2. How to Make a Complaint
You can make a complaint in whichever way is easiest for you:
Please give us as much detail as you can, including your name, contact details, any reference number for your enquiry or application, and a clear description of what happened.
3. What Happens Next
- Acknowledgement: we will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days of receiving it.
- Investigation: a member of our team, independent of the matter you're complaining about, will look into what happened.
- Response: we aim to provide a full response within 8 weeks. If we need longer, we'll explain why and let you know when to expect an update.
4. If You're Not Happy With Our Response
As an introducer of unregulated bridging finance, complaints about the terms or conduct of your loan itself may need to be directed to the relevant lender, who will have their own complaints procedure. We will always tell you if this applies and help point you in the right direction.
Where a complaint relates to a regulated activity and you remain unhappy after receiving our final response, you may have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), free of charge:
5. Data Protection Complaints
If your complaint relates specifically to how we've handled your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy for details on how to contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
6. Contact Us
To raise a complaint, email complaints@fortebridging.co.uk — we're here to listen and to help.
